While staying with my aunt who had her treatment at dr. Herzog's hospital I just had wonderful experiences- very friendly staff, expert doctors and the daily buffet is a plus, the food was always fresh and well made. They really take care about their patients and their family. The town of Bad Salzhausen is a picturesque place with lots of parks, so I think anybody would enjoy taking a walk there. Wonderful.
It has been a little over a year since I stayed at the clinic and received the hyperthermia treatment for my lyme disease. I had lyme for over 23 years which means the little buggers had infiltrated my entire body. Please keep this in mind as I write about the outcome of my clinic experience. First, let me say that the clinic is very well organized and the staff was wonderful. All were kind, considerate, attentive without exception. The clinic is lovely, they want you to have family with you and the setting is absolutely beautiful...a small village between two gigantic parks.The only criticism I have is that it would have been helpful to know the scientific rationale behind some aspects of the multi-faced treatment. That said, I consider the expense and time spent obtaining the treatment to have been very worthwhile. One thing I didnt realize at the time is that there is a very long follow-up period after leaving the clinic when intravenous drugs were needed every week. Those of you with lyme should know about herxheimer reactions so I will just say that I had a series of these during that follow-up period which was a good sign.At the end of six months I felt better and had more energy than Id had in years. I went from functioning at 25% to about 85%. I suspect there are still bugs hiding out in my body. If you are a lyme person and have researched (and you need to do this because docs generally know zip about lyme) you know these spirochetes have a number of clever defense mechanisms, including going dormant inside a cyst that neither your immune system nor antibiotics can penetrate. So, the next step is attacking those cysts. Killing lyme is a long journey but I highly recommend starting that journey at the Fachklnic because it gives you a great headstart.

Intensive Behandlung und flexible Anwendungen . Familire , kompetente Atmosphre, welche unglaublich zur Genesung beitragen kann . Hier ist man Mensch , hier wird man als Mensch behandelt . Hier mchte ich einfach einen lieben Gru an die tollen Menschen im rtze,- Pflege,-Reinigungs,-Kchen,- Hausmeister,- Fahrer,-und Rezeptionsteam sagen !! Ihr seid toll und schon fast wie Familie geworden ! Hier kann man genesen, auch wenn die Hoffnung gering sein sollte !!!Absolut empfehlenswert!!!
